Fall Update: Harvest 2017

In general, fall harvest 2017 has been slow-going due to the frequent rains and a large crop of both soybeans and corn this year, but the guys have been working late all season to finish.

As of Saturday, November 11, Never Dun Acres is officially done with the 2017 soybean harvest! Soybean yields have been fairly high, consistent with last year’s numbers.

The 2017 corn harvest is nearly complete. Corn yields, like soybean yields, have been unusually high as well. With two combines running consistently, we have been able to more efficiently harvest a larger acreage this year than in previous years.

One highlight of this year's harvest has been the ability to capture some fantastic aerial views of the field with our new drone. Jacob has been taking video of the combine in the fields all season. Below is a short compilation of some drone footage from Never Dun Acres' 2017 harvest.
